We were very pleased with the initial visit by Heat Electric. The work was carried out within time scales quoted and a couple of small issues dealt with quickly. We had our heating and a very complicated hot water system replaced and couldn’t be happier with the installations we now have.

Booked 3 radiators and a towel rail on 25/03/2025. A Ian visited, measured up and advised. I paid the deposit and awaited a date. The installation took place on 16/05/2025. It took just one morning for the engineer to take away the old radiators and replace with the new ones. No mess and very efficient. The new radiators work fine and a vast improvement on ancient Economy 7.

I would like to start this review by saying that I had limited knowledge of solar panels, batteries and electric hot water systems and the more I read about them the more confused I would be. To be fair to Heat Electric after one house visit all the confusion was put to bed. David had great knowledge of the sector and his delivery was honest and pressure free. The system we agreed on Solar panels, batteries and a Sunamp (hot water system) was fitted hassle free and to a very high standard, the installation team were friendly, neat and tidy and highly skilled, a credit to your company. Heat Electric are a real stand out pearl in the solar/renewable energy landscape. They took great care in designing and specifying the right solar and battery package for our bungalow in the north of Scotland, including a solar diverter for water heating, as well as installing highly efficient Elkatherm electric radiators in our home. We are now looking forward to many years of no or low cost energy bills as a result!. The Heat Electric office staff both in Dunfermline and the main North West office in England have been extremely helpful. Their very professional installation team have been absolutely first class, their work is neat as a pin with excellent attention to detail. "I have to say, our experience with Heat Electric for our Solar was brilliant from day one. From Emily who first drew us in and became our point person to David (the owner) who came out and talked through all our concerns and explained everything. I found solar a bit daunting to be honest and Heat Electric were great at holding our hands throughout the process.
We also had Steve who was our installer. We wanted a ground mounted system, and it wasn't the easiest system to figure out and every time I sent Steve a curveball on what we wanted...He was brilliant at figuring out a solution and came up with the goods everytime. Him and his boys were brilliant.
We've had our solar now for a couple of months and it's been amazing. Everytime we've had a question or concern, Heat Electric are there to answer our questions. All in all, I feel like we lucked out with David, Emily and Steve. From conception to build to after care service... exactly what you'd want when delving into the unknown. "Professional, courteous, friendly, from survey and quote, to installation of our new battery storage water heater to replace our defunct 22 year-old boiler. Drained, dismantled, and carted away the old boiler without the need for any structural work. The technicians explained everything. The new system is giving us plenty of hot water, and is a lot quieter in operation. It’s too soon to tell if it’s cheaper to run. Would thoroughly recommend."

"I cannot fault this company From the survey visit to the installation Heat Electric was impeccable. I needed to replace costly underfloor heating in my apartment but to start with just 2 radiators. Garry listened to me, surveyed my home in fine detail and was then able to advise on best positions for optimal benefit. As well as this he then set out a full cost which would not change. But at the same time I did not feel in any way pressurised into any decision. I think that was very important for me. Everything went according to schedule. The fitters were great and very professional and ensured the radiators positioned exactly as I wished, fitted an extra socket, set up remote and explained how to run them for best performance. I love my ELKATHERM radiators, my flat is warm and they are so energy efficient. I would certainly use this company again and can fully recommend Heat Electric."

"We had replacement and new extra Elkatherm electric radiators together with a new consumer unit as part of the installation and a Sunamp water heater, both systems with associated apps. The order was placed at the end of August 2023 and the job was completed by mid October well within the suggested time-frame. The initial survey was informative and friendly and subsequent queries answered quickly. All the staff from the beginning of the project were polite and helpful and the installation was carried out quickly, cleanly and efficiently. Any problems, inevitable in an old house, were solved with great creativity especially the installation of the consumer unit which illustrated how experienced the staff were. This gives us great confidence in case of any issues in the future. The whole project was completed within estimate and we are very pleased with the result."

"With the spiralling costs of electric heating, guests at our 2 small Airbnbs (Victorian conversion) with their inefficient wall mounted panel heaters were using an extraordinary amount of energy yet the rooms still had inconsistent temperatures. We decided to swap to modern, efficient and stylish ELKATHERM, the S range as ours are standard height. Heat Electric came recommended to us by a friend. With 25yrs in the property/interiors market, we deal with all types of traders & installers, and this was hands down one of the best experiences ever. The initial contact & advice was professional and speedy, with good comms and immediate action. The installation day was a delight. Friendly and knowledgable duo Ethan and Liam arrived on time with smiles, and couldn't do enough to make the day run smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble, including swapping a single surface mounted socket to a double just to make the usability of the socket better for us - no extra charge. They brought a Henry Hoover with them and fully cleaned everywhere up, and cut up and took away all the packaging, it was as though they'd never been. For me as a professional project manager, it was the care they took, their obvious pride in their work and little things like the patience with which they explained the App and remote system of control. It's increasingly rare to be so impressed by installers and these two were a credit to their employers. 10/10"

“Heat Electric replaced our emersion tank with the new innovative and much smaller SunAmp hot water system, and also replaced an old radiator. We cannot fault the courtesy, efficiency and professionalism of the Heat Electric team at all stages of the process from the initial discussion to the final installation. This was all achieved in a timely manner and to budget. There was some confusion over the ideal positioning of the SunAmp to maximise the space efficiency of a tight under stairs storage room, and Heat Electric had no problem in coming back to move the SunAmp which took several hours and replacement pipe work to deliver what we had hoped for. “

“I had a meeting in December where Garry went through the savings, process and options in detail. Having selected custom colours I was given an estimated time, of 12 weeks, for installation which was within a couple of days of the actual date. The 2 fitters and the electrician that arrived where friendly, professional and efficient. The removal of my old storage heaters and installation of my 6 new radiators took around 5 hours and had no impact on me while I was home. All packaging and rubbish was removed and any plaster dust was hoovered away. All the radiators were quickly put on my wi-fi and the lead fitter took me though how to operate the phone app that gives me control. I would recommend the company to anyone thinking of replacing existing radiators or storage heaters. The product is efficient, elegant and easy to control.“

“Unlike other companies right from the start things were conducted in a professional manner. No "Special Prices" or "Managers Discounts" if we signed there and then. They gave us time to consider their quote and once we had accepted the quotation which was very competitive, everything proceeded as agreed. We were kept informed of the progress of the order and they agreed a date convenient to us for fitting As we live in Retirement Apartments when the work was carried out Steve came with full PPE and the fitting of the radiators was done very quickly with little mess. As its summer we cannot comment on the efficiency of the radiators but have confidence that they will prove to be all that the company claims.
