Plentigrade P58 is a phase change material that absorbs and releases thermal energy during a melting and freezing process, in a way similar to the gel in a pocket handwarmer. Freezing this material releases a huge amount of energy in the form of heat at a constant temperature. The unique formula stores up to four times more energy than water, which means Thermino heat batteries are up to four times smaller than the hot water cylinders they replace. Plentigrade P58 does not contain any hazardous or toxic materials, and there are no end of life disposal issues.
The Sunamp is available in single and dual circuit models with a wide choice of energy sources including solar PV systems and grid electricity. The simple user interface shows the current charge level, and the high powered heat exchanger ensures you benefit from high quality hot water at mains pressure.
