Taking its place alongside the best professionals in the country, HeatElectric, the UK’s newest national electric and solar heating group, has received the Government endorsed quality mark for businesses who offer energy efficient measures.
They have been formally endorsed by the not-for-profit TrustMark social enterprise, the only Government Endorsed Quality Scheme in the UK covering home improvements in or around the home.
HeatElectric, with a franchise network covering the UK and Ireland, joins the top tried and trusted professionals endorsed by TrustMark. They are overseen by an independent board and work closely with the National Consumer Federation.
In considering which companies to include in the scheme TrustMark look at quality, continual improvement, best practice, excellent customer service and protection.
They provide assurance and protection to homeowners who are considering having work done in their homes. All registered businesses are thoroughly vetted and continually monitored to ensure they meet required standards in technical competence, customer service and trading practices.
All businesses must also provide work guarantees and have a clear and simple disputes resolution process in place.
Managing director David Lukeman created the new group in February after his 10-year-old company was re-branded from Northwest Heating Solutions to HeatElectric.
