Residents of the Fountains retirement village grew tired of the old night storage heating in the corridors and public areas of this large and very comfortable retirement apartment building.
The old heaters were in the laundrette, the dayroom, the corridors, stairwells and indeed in every common area of the building. Several proposals were sought from leading companies in the field and North West Heating Solutions won the tender with the best value for money solution. Every heater can be programmed and controlled from one central point by Eric the house manager and the whole system is set at a comfortable temperature each day throughout the year.
Seventy six night storage heaters were removed and seventy six modern new ELKATHERM® electric radiators were installed, all achieved in just two weeks, on time and within budget. We have gone on to replace a number of heating systems within the residents own flats too.
